Tahu is the Toa of Fire on Mata nui, and the leader of his team. Over the years however, he's grown unsure of his leadership-skills and suffers anxeity due to this. He doesn't have the best bond with his fellow toa, which only lowers his self-esteem. He has a strong bond with the Turaga of his village, Vakama, however, and calls him, more or less jokingly, "dad". Tahu joins Vakama on his journey to Feroi nui, in order to have a bit of a vacation from his duties. Unfortunately, this vacation soon turns into a full on war when Wimeru returns.

Jasmine "GT" Feroi is the Toa of Fire on feroi Nui, adopted daughter of Turaga Gotaru and the twin sister of Stephen. GT had a happy childhood, but as a young teen, a virus killed her mother. The same virus soon took her brother's girlfriend Otosu as well, causing Stephen to grow cold and distant. Wanting to help her brother, GT tried to talk to him, only for Stephen to attack her in rage, causing her the scar over her eye. The attack also made GT grow unstable and prone to manic episodes. With the help of her fellow toa and adoptive father, she was able to keep most of her sanity however. GT is jovial, outgoing and has a slightly threatening aura to her. She is a loyal friend, however, and despite her violent episodes, cares for her friends and remaining family dearly. She can be a bit aggressive sometimes, and is prone to swearing heavily when annoyed or angry.

Xinzen "Xin" Feroi is the Toa of Nature on Feroi Nui and the adopted daughter of Turaga of Wo-koro, Yuri. Toa being born into a matoran-family is rare, and often seen as bad luck for the parents. Because of this, Xin's parents abandoned their daughter in the forest. Xin's elemental powers woke up early to protect the baby from predators, until the Turaga Yuri found her and adopted her. Xin is aware of her origin, but has forgiven her parents. Xin is joyfull, positive and energetic toa who is rarely seen frowning. She believes everyone has something good in them, and is always looking things from the bright side. She loves animals, and has some strange habbits, like hanging upside down from things.

Triton Feroi (former Metruva) is the Toa of Gravity on Feroi Nui. When it was time for the Turaga of Fi-koro, Mako, to choose himself a follower, he send an open invitation for Toas of Gravity to come and claim the position. Triton was the only one who answered this call, much to Mako's dislike, as he saw the jovial young Toa to be unfit for the serious job. Tri took it upon himself to go and meet his fellow Toa. As he was visiting GT, he also ran into Stephen, who simply greeted him with a freezing stare. Triton then found the injured GT near by. Shocked Triton imidietly embraced and helped the Toa of Fire to recover, earning her ever-lasting loyalty and trust.
Sometime after this the Toa of Feroi were visiting a neighboring island, where Triton met, and quickly fell in love with, the Toa of Sonics Solari. The two started a relationship, and as Triton had to return to Feroi Nui, they continued by sending each other letters. One day the letters stopped, and when the Feroi Nui Toa went to investigate, they found the whole island destroyed. Triton found Solari's broken mask in the rubble, and realized she was dead. His fellow toa helped him over the grief, but Triton still misses Solari dearly, and isn't quite ready to start another relationship yet. Triton is loyal, positive and stong-willed toa, who is always ready to protect those he loves.

Ramui Feroi is the Toa of Electricity on Feroi Nui. He's the son of Turaga of Water Arian and Turaga of Electricity Yoru, and younger brother of late Toa of Water Otosu. Ramui is very anxious, awkward and shy. He has a deep rooted fear of new things and people, and prefers to things being the way they are. When put into a stressful situation he will either dissosiate or panic. Ramui has a habit of getting crushes on people, especially ones he's just met. Ramu had a stong bond with his late sister Otosu, and his anxiety only got worse after her death. Ramui now has a huge crush on Tahu, but it's clear the Toa of Fire is not aware of this.

Stephen Feroi is the Toa of Ice on Feroi Nui. He's the twin brother of GT. Stephen had a happy childhood, until in his early teens his mother was killed by a virus. Soon after this his father, who he thought he had a good bond with, left him and his sister. Not long after this, Stephen's girlfriend Otosu died of the very same virus. All of this loss and grief changed Stephen, and he decided to harden his feelings towards others to make sure he would not feel pain like that again. As he was distancing himself of GT, she tried to talk some sense into him, causing Stephen to lose his temper and attack her. Stephen later regretted his deed, but convinced himself that this was for the best. Stephen is bitter, rude and aggressive, especially when challenged.

Ace Feroi is the Toa of Water on Feroi Nui. Ace was born on a far-away island. As his mother passed away, he was left alone with his negletful and both physically and verbally abusive father. This caused Ace to learn not to show emotions and bottle up his feelings deep inside. When he was old enough he joined the army and took part in a bloody war, causing him to lose his arm and eye. As he returned home after the war, he found his father had moved on with his life, getting remarried. Ace decided to start traveling the world, and as he was doing so, he heard that the island of Feroi Nui was looking for a Toa of Water. Despite having very weak elemental powers, Ace decided to apply for the position. Ace is calm, mostly rational, although spontanious Toa. He has a strong moral code, and admires strong people. Recently he has started to learn how to express himself.

Vakama Metru is the former Toa of Fire of Metru Nui, and current Turaga of Ta-koro on Mata Nui. Vakama was born a matoran, but was made a Toa with a Toa-stone. He was never too sure of miself, especially when he was forced to become the leader of the Toa Metru. After the "Hordika-incident" he decided to leave Mata Nui for good, and washed up on Feroi Nui, where he met Gotaru and his fellow Toa. He decided to stay for a while, and during his stay, Wimeru attacked for he first time. Vakama decided to help the Toa who had taken him in, and helped to defeat Wimeru. Some time after this, Vakama's team came looking for him and were able to convince him to return to Mata nui. Decades later, Vakama is invited to the celebration on Feroi nui and decides to take his follower, Tahu, with him. What he doesn't know is that Wimeru is waiting for him on the island. Vakama is more relaxed and sure of himself than in his youth, and has a warm, faterly aura to him. Thanks to this, he has a strong bond with Tahu, so much so that the former calls him "dad". Vakama answers this banter by calling Tahu his "son" in return.

Gotaru Feroi is the former Toa of Fire of Feroi Nui, current Turaga of Ka-koro. Gotaru has always been very nervious and unsure, even when he was young. He has a tendency to panic and over-react on things. He is very emotional and isn't afraid to cry when needed. He is very caring soul, and took GT in after the death of her mother and abandonment of her father. Gotaru had already been like a grandfather or a second father to GT when she was a kid, causing her to start calling Gotaru her "papa" at the young age. Gotaru was forced by Wimeru to invite Vakama on the island to help the Makuta get his revenge. Gotaru did this, feeling guilty and defeated having to betray his old friend, but could not sacrifice his people or GT either. Gotaru was forgiven by Vakama and others, but still feels terrible over it.

Arian Feroi is the former Toa of Water of Feroi Nui, current Turaga of Ho-koro. She is the wife of Turaga Yoru and mother of Ramui and late Otosu. Arian was the leader of Toa Feroi in her time, and is still conciddered the leader of the Turaga today. At first Arian found Yoru to be annoying, but after fighting alonside him, she began to see him as a good friend, and later fell in love with him. The two married after the first Wimeru war and had their daughter Otosu some time after. They had their second child Ramui some years later. Otosu's death affected Arian greatly. She had softened a bit after becoming a mother, but Otosu's death caused her to revert back to her serious self again. Despite this, she still greatly loves her husband and remaining child, even when the guild of not being able to protect her daughter eats away at her. She was the only one to demand Stephen to be exiled after attacking GT, but was over-ruled by others.

After he attacked his sister, and others were talking about punishing and even exiling Stephen, Jon vauched for him, promising to take care of him and make sure it would never happen again. Makuta Wimeru is one of the many who are part of the Brotherhood. Wimeru was born as a Toa of Plasma, but due to heavy bullying, he snapped and murdered his fellow Toa. He then joined the Brotherhood and became known as a ruthless and clever killer. He then fell in love with a female Makuta named Noibe and had a daughter with her. Soon after Dokuro's birth however, Noibe was killed on a mission. Bittered and angry, Wimeru decided to take over the world to make sure nothing would happen to his daughter. Wimeru then attempted to take over Feroi nui after hearing they held a powerful Crystal there. The plan failed due to Vakama's and the Feroi nui's Toas' attempts.
Wimeru was scarred heavily by this, but made a promise to try again later on, and to take his revenge on the Toa who foiled his plans before. Wimeru is unstable and violent, yet loving and doting his daughter.

Tataku is the General of the Rahkshi-dogs and works under Wimeru's rule. Tataku was born from a strange unity of her father, the former general of the dogs, and her mother, a full-blood rahkshi. While the dogs have strong family-bonds, purebred rahkshi do not care for their young. So Tataku was left with her father to be raised. Tataku's father didn't have long to raise his daughter however as he was killed in combat. Tataku was taken in by Wimeru, but only because the dogs were loyal to her after the death of her father. Tataku grew in a weird environment where she was surrounded by love and doting, but never got any herself. This caused her to get interested in the concept of unity and affection in general. Tataku is loyal, but only to those who she feels deserve it. She cares for Doku and her dogs dearly, and hates Wimeru for abusing her and keeping her from living a normal life.

He did have a strog bond with his younger sister however. After the rite of passage he left the island to find his own way in the world, and eventually became a assasin. He got a good reputation among the Brotherhood for doing a fast and clean job, and was then hired by Wimeru to work for him. Ketsume possesses some Shadow-powers, which are rare occurance among the Vortixx. Wether his family knew of his powers, he doesn't tell. Ketsume is proud, confident and bit of a clown. But despite this, he is a dangerous enemy, being able to would GT severly.

Dokuro is the daughter of Makuta Wimeru and Noibe. Wimeru intends her to become the ruler of the world after he is gone. Doku doesn't remember much of her mother, as she was still a newborn when she died. Doku was raised alone by her father who doted on her greatly, causing her to grow up a bit spoiled. Doku has a high esteem and sees herself as perfect. She seems sweet on the outside, and even a bit air-headed, but when challenged she gets angry and even violent. She wants things to go exactly as she wants, and hardly listens to others. The only person she holds higher than herself is her father. She is friends with Tataku, but doesn't like when she goes against her orders or ignores her.

Toto is a mutated Rahkshi-dog that used to work under Wimeru. He was imprisoned for years but was freed to cause havoc on the island, even though he no longer accosiates himself with either Wimeru or his old pack. It is not known how Toto became mutated, but he used to be loyal to Tataku's father, and even saw him as a close friend. When he died, and the pack's loyalty turned to his daughter, Toto became unhinged and attacked the pack. He was then imprisoned to stop him from killing any more of Wimeru's army. Toto does not see Tataku as a deserving leader, most likely feeling that her mix-breed-origin is not appropriate to a leader of the pack, even though he himself is anything but normal in a rahksi-dog standards. Toto is violent, angry and condescending. He hates Wimeru as he sees the Makuta as the reason his old leader is dead. Toto acts like an animal, but has a sligtly more developed brain and speaks smartly, although only in the language of the dogs.
