Freckles is a young male born in the Fern Pack, before the rule of Lanky. He works as a hunter and is well known for his skills of hunting birds. Freckles is talkative, positive, energetic and always happy. He is seen as the sunshine of Fern Pack, though some see him as a bit annoying as well. Freckles had to flee the pack after Lanky put a hit on his head from overhearing his conversation with Maximus. He met Diamonds on his way and found out about his true self when he was saved from Devil. He was overjoyed as he had always loved stories of the Legendary Beasts.

Adamas, who goes by the "mortal" name Diamonds, is one of the twelve legendary beasts and has taken a form of dog. It is to be assumed that before dogs he had a form of a wolf. Diamonds travels the world, searching for dogs who need his help. Diamonds is a mysterious creature, he emotes very little, he has a strong aura to him, and he has a very strong moral code. He dislikes killing, but knows that it is sometimes necessary in his work.

Brianca is the medic of Fern Pack and mother of Freckles. She used to be a pet but fell in love with a wild dog and ran away with him. Before the birth of their pups, he dies by accident. Brianca was alone and scared, until she was found by few hunters from Fern Pack. She was taken in and moved in with the old medic, Lotus. She gave birth to three pups but only one, Freckles, survived. Brianca took the position of the pack's medic after Lotus passed away. Despite all the hardships, Brianca is a stong and happy dog who loves her son dearly. She loves the free life and is well liked in the pack. She hates Lanky, but also feels she can do very little to help her pack in her position.

Lanky is the current leader of the Fern Pack. He took the leadership by defeating and killing the old leader. He was an outsider who suddenly appeared to the pack, and simply attacked the leader. He then started to change the rules of the before so open and accepting pack into more restrictive and closed up. He also changed the place of the nesting-grounds further away from humans. During Lanky's rule, no new pups have been born into the pack. Lanky started to work with the local gansters to keep the pack from rebelling against him. Lanky is rude, violent and unpredictable. He doesn't listen to others for their opinnions and wants things to go as he says. He hates and fears man due to his history with them. He isn't beyond thretening his allies or even attacking a literal Demigod to get what he wants. Despite his brutish powers, he has also a silver tongue he knows how to use.

Maximus is the leader of Black Claw Gansters, also known as Maximu's Gansters. He has a mate and three pups that don't travel with him. His right paw dog is Devil. Maximus works with various different packs around the area, getting his goons to do dirty work for them in exchange of hunting right on the pack's area. Lanky is Max's latest ally, although the latter is growing tired of Lanky's threats to his auchtority. Despite being a brute, Max is also very smart and calculating. Under the tought chell he is also a caring mate and father. He also cares for his goons, even if he doesn't always show this.

Devil, known as Red in his past, is a member of Maximu's gansters, and works as both right paw dog for Max as well as his hitman. He is well known for his skill in killing despite his small size. Devil is crude, bad mouthed and violent, but very loyal to his leader and fellow goons. He rarely backs down, and when he does, it's usually for a good reason.
