No one knows her name, so everyone just calls he "The Red Doe". She is a traveler who moves around between herds with her few month old son, whom she simply calls "Vermin". She hasn't exactly named her son that, but it is the only name his son knows. Red Doe is exctremely vile and rude to people around her, as well as abusive to her son. Why she acts the way she does, is not yet known.

Naalu is a young fawn that lives in Herald's herd. He is the only son of Nemo and Dahlia White. Naalu is positive, curious, playfull and happy. He is also very brave, exploring the forest near the meadow and talking back at Vermin's mother after seeing her hurt him. Naalu is seemingly worried of Vermin, even when they only met for a moment.

Nemo is an old male that lives in Herald's herd. He is the mate of Dahlia and father of Naalu. He is one of the guards in the herd. Nemo and Dahlia moved from a northen herd, thus their light colors, to build their own lifes in the south. They've had many fawns in their life, Naalu being the latest, and most likely last. Nemo is aloof and loyal, yet loving father.

Dahlia is an old female that lives in Herald's herd. She is the mate of Nero and mother of Naalu. She and Nero moved from the north to start their own life in the south. They've had many fawns in their life, Naalu being the latest, and most likely last. She is a loving and caring mother who loves her son and husband greatly.
